1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and [legal business name] (“we”, “us”), the maker of WP Push Notify. By downloading, installing, or paying for the plugin, or using this website, you agree to them.
2. The plugin and its license
The plugin's code is licensed under the GPL, version 2 or later. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that license gives you. A paid plan gives you a license key that unlocks Premium features and lets you receive updates for as long as your subscription is active.
3. Plans and billing
- The Free plan costs nothing, and each notification reaches up to 200 subscribers.
- Premium is billed monthly or annually, as you choose at checkout, and renews automatically until you cancel.
- One Premium license covers one website. To use Premium on another website, you need another license.
- Payments are processed by our partner Freemius, under its own terms. Taxes may be added at checkout.
- You can cancel any time from your Freemius account. If you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for.
- If we change our prices, we'll tell you before it affects your next renewal.
4. Try before you buy, and no refunds
The Free plan is the whole plugin, limited only to 200 subscribers per notification, so you can test it fully on your own site before paying. Because of this, we don't offer refunds on Premium, except where the law requires otherwise. Please test on the Free plan first. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before your renewal date.
5. Using the plugin responsibly
You are responsible for the notifications you send. You agree to:
- Only send notifications to people who have chosen to subscribe.
- Not send anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or spam.
- Follow the laws that apply to you and your visitors, and the rules of the browser and push services you send through. Those services may block senders they consider abusive.
- Keep your own privacy policy up to date. See our privacy policy for suggestions.
6. Your data
Subscriber data lives in your own WordPress database. You are its controller, and we don't have access to it. Keeping backups is your responsibility.
7. Support
WP Push Notify is built and supported by a single developer. We provide support by email at wppushnotifypro@gmail.com and make reasonable efforts to help, but replies can take some time and we can't promise a response time. We also can't guarantee that the plugin will work with every theme, plugin, or hosting setup. The documentation and troubleshooting pages solve most problems faster.
8. No warranty
The plugin is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Push delivery depends on browsers and third-party push services that we don't control, so we can't guarantee that every notification is delivered.
9. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the plugin at any time. We may end a license if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by sending spam.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [country or state].
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Questions? Email wppushnotifypro@gmail.com.
